At least I’m doing my part to boost the economy. I spent Black Friday shopping. I spent last weekend shopping and I spent this week shopping. I went back to J.Crew and bought:
This wonderful Merino de longueur cardigan in heather carbon
I also got the Drapey bateau tee with the sequins on the shoulders. This is a fun shirt that I wore this weekend.
I didn’t know if I should buy more camis with ruffles, but at $14.99 and $22.49 with discounts, I kind of had too, right? I also got the Bayberry washed wool scarf,which I love:
I also bought the Perfect-fit tank in rose dust, which I am wearing underneath. I bought the Knotted pearl and chain necklace (Madison’s request. She loved it) and the Petite lavaliere necklace. I also shopped the J.Crew Factory outlet online and got the Factory Wool Printed Scarf for $20. I absolutely love this scarf! I am happy with both scarfs and will get a lot of wear out of them.
I tried on the Super 120s pétale dress. This was just okay for me. At $142, I want to love it. I was lukewarm, so I passed on it.

I also went to Bath and Body Works to stock up on hand soaps for the house (yummy holiday smells) and got this Gift with purchase. Then I went to the Coach outlet, which had an additional 20% these two beauties:
One would think buying a car would keep me out of the mall for a few days. I already promised my co-worker that we would go to Nordstrom’s annual event. It was a selfless act, I know, but I had to go. I told myself I would be good. It’s amazing how much you end up with when Nordstrom serves free Champagne. J I got the Cole Haan 'Air Talia' Booties that I’ve had my eye on forever.

ReplyDeleteI love that scarf!! Lucky you, I was in my B&M this weekend and no sign of it (although with the extra 25% off, I walked out with a full bag...) As for the Cole Haan booties- they are very cute, but I wonder outloud- how can anything 3 1/2" and above be "wonderful comfort" as touted by the description?? I have one pair of the Cole Haan Air Nike series, and they are not wonderful comfort- my feet hurt after full days wear. Let me know how the booties feel- maybe it was the style.
ReplyDeleteMommie Dearest - The Darla fits TTS similiar to the other silk Camis (Coralie, Tulipe).I take either a 6 or 8.I got this in an 8 on the sale rack. I have room to move and it's blousier. The sizing with J.Crew makes me crazy, but these seem more predictable. I love the colors! That color is called Dusty Cedar, but looks more mauve like to me. I really like it and I will get a lot of use out of it. A gorgeous color is the vintage rosewood - it's sadly sold out in my size,but if I see it in the store, I will jump on it, too! :)

Woobie - the Cole Haans are owned by Nike and they are more comfortable than most shoes. Similiar to Born or soft heels. They are heels, but they manageable. I can walk in them but not run. My feet don't happily conform to fashion, so I like anything that feels comfortable.
Thanks Tammy! I just passed on all those promos because there was nothing I wanted....and now they are over! But I'm sure it's only a matter of time until there's another one. Just hope it isn't with final sale ;)

ReplyDeleteSOOOOO jealous that you bought the Merino de longueur cardigan, I was totally in love with that cardi....but I had to choose only one and ended up getting an Infinity cardi in rustic barn (which I adore). You will get so much wear out of the Merino de longueur cardigan because it is such a closet staple. FAB color too. Mega cute blog, loving all the J. Crew! Thanks for following :):):)
